The Easter exhibition at Iconart is an annual tradition that brings together the gallery’s artists to reflect on one of the central themes of Christian culture — the Resurrection.
The works presented offer new interpretations of classical iconographic subjects such as the Crucifixion, the Harrowing of Hell, the Myrrh-bearing Women, and the Resurrection. Rather than replicating tradition, the artists engage with it, rethinking it through contemporary experience, materials, and visual approaches.
This exhibition creates a dialogue between past and present, where sacred art moves beyond established forms and becomes a space for personal reflection, exploration, and interpretation. It reveals how tradition continues to live today — through new images, symbols, and artistic languages.
